This series is unique in being wholly dedicated to female speakers. It was intended to showcase the enormous range of women's careers and raise the profile of women of high achievement in order to increase the range of role models accessible to challenge and inspire women both at Oxford and outside. The series was funded by the Diversity Fund.
With funding from the Diversity Fund and the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, TORCH’s headline series Humanities & Identities focused on multiple research areas relating to diversity including race, gender, sexuality, disability, poverty, class, religion and inequality.
